Kollect’s wholly-owned subsidiary for waste drop-off operations, BIGbin Waste Technology Limited (“BIGbin”), has today placed an order for an additional 10 new compactor bins with the most up-todate technology installed.

Waterford-based waste company Kollect saw revenue rise 28 per cent to €4.4 million last year despite the pandemic.

Kollect, an Irish company with an office in Bolton, operates an online marketplace that connects customers who need to dispose of waste with well known, reliable waste collection companies using an on-demand technology platform.

Waterford waste start-up Kollect has made its first acquisition since going public last year, buying an unnamed Irish company in a €480,000 deal.
